Why I chose to work with dogs: I've always loved dogs even as a kid and who wouldn't! But I'd never imagine I would be working with these furry friends. I always struggled to find my passion even after college. That all changed 4 years ago. One of my closest friends had gotten a new dog which was very exciting for me as well. This was a Siberian Husky a very energetic dog. The problem was that the dog harness they gave my friend was not very good. We were in a parking lot where cars would pass by and in an instant the dog got loose and started running around. My friend chased him to no avail. I knew I had to do something before another car came. I told myself I had to be calm. So I went down on one knee and called him towards me a few times. He came to me for some pets and at that moment I knew what my passion was. 

         My passion is working with animals and learning more and more about them. There's always something to learn no matter how good you are. One day I will become a dog trainer to help owners and pets be on the same page. When a person and their dog can communicate with each other and respect one another it is a beautiful thing.
